Did The Wizards Gilbert Arenas And Javaris Crittenton Pull Guns On Each Other?

Several reports now say that the Washington Wizards Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton pulled pistols on each other on Christmas Eve over a gambling debt owed to Crittenton. Sources say that Arenas pulled his weapon on Crittenton first who then returned the favor. Incidents like this are definitely not going to help the NBA’s image which has been hurting over the last several years with just a hint of thuggery.
The Washington Wizards did in fact announce that Gilbert Arenas had brought weapons into the locker room, but turned them over to security. The Washington Wizards were once called the Washington Bullets, but the team owner changed the name back in 1997 due to his friend the Prime Minister of Israel being killed and for the plague of gun violence in the D.C. area.
Of course we all know how stringent the gun laws in Washington D.C. are, some of the strictest there are in the country. Washington D.C. also has one of the highest crime rates in the country as well. Arenas’ guns were turned over to team security and subsequently turned over to D.C. police who are investigating. Reportedly Arenas’ gun was registered in Arizona where he played college ball.
Gilbert Arenas has denied that he pulled a gun on Javaris Crittenton; a man named Kendrick "Bookie Ball" Long, a friend of Crittenton says the story of a showdown in the locker room is true. "Bookie Ball" is a schoolyard friend of Javaris Crittenton. Now how could you not believe a guy named "Bookie Ball?"
